A new design scheme for a spiral-sector FFAG accelerator with the simple matching technique has been proposed. In ordinary design schemes for the spiral-sector FFAG with high momentum ratio and small mean radius, many geometrical parameters concerning to a chamfer of pole edge, the pole shape and field clamps should be optimized to match the design indexes of the lattice optics: local k value, effective BL, the spiral angle and dimensionless factor “I” that describes the fringing field shape. Our proposed design scheme has an advantage of designing magnets with a simple procedure to optimize only the shape and the geometry of the field clamp. In my presentation, details of the optimization procedure in this scheme will be reported.
